Perspective is everything: "I very much understand that for some people living in Arlington the school levy will be a financial burden, and they have every right to vote no. However, for those who are withholding a YES vote because you want the price to come down $30mil, this is what I struggle with. $30mil over a 38 year tax payment for 35,000 residents (UA’s current listed population) you’re looking at a savings of $22.50 per resident, per year. $22.50 for our kids to have a drastically different educational experience and our community to have beautiful looking buildings. Please don’t withhold your vote as a matter of principle, consider the children first" (Mandy Markoff).
